Volatge fluctuations in the UAE?

Voltage fluctuations are common in the UAE and we have to use voltage transformers for home appliances in UAE?

General – voltage is not Sharjah in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, but you can have it in the rest of the United Arab Emirates (Ajman, Fujairah, RAK, UAQ) The reason for this is Abu Dhabi, and Dubai Electricity Company as a private ADWEA (Abu Dhabi), Sharjah and SEWA for DEWA for Dubai. This utility company ensure that the local consumption, especially during summer, when the high load capacity is achieved by the power station. The rest of the United Arab Emirates are dependent on the Federal Grid and with increasing load in RAK and Ajman, voltage drop will be felt instanteneously in some places. I would therefore recommend that Voltage Regulator / Stabilizer is not required in Sharjah, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, but please use one if you are to be paid in Fujairah Ajman, RAK and UAQ. Goodluck!
