Electrical Appliances Hong Kong

Can I use an electrical appliance from Hong Kong in Iceland?
As I understand, Hong Kong uses 220V, the same as is used here in Iceland. I found a charger dock for my Nintendo Wii and was wondering if it would work here.
Yes
Hong Kong and Iceland use the same power and frequency – 220V, 50Hz.
If your Nintendo power plug has 2 round pins (Nintendo often supplies their products from HK with different types of connecting plugs) then the plug will fit into your wall socket and you will be good to go.
If you only have the standard HK / British plug connector (uses 3 rectangular pins – BS1363) then you just need an adapter plug from your local electronics store – just say that it is for a 13Amp British plug – absolutely no need for a transformer.
